Summer Kids Fun
This Wednesday Night, August 5 our Summer Kids Fun will be at Timberlake Pool from 6:00 PM -8:00 PM for a “Back to School Bash”. Pizza will be served. This is a church wide event so no other activities will be held.

Also, mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 19 for the last Summer Kids Fun. Details will be shared soon!!

Blessing of the Backpacks
As we prepare for a new school year, we invite all students to bring their backpacks to church next Sunday, August 8 for a special Blessing of the Backpacks during the worship service. We will pray for God's protection, wisdom, and guidance over everyone involved in education this year. We invite students, teachers, teacher assistants, counselors, homeschool teachers, administrators, and all school staff to join us as we dedicate the upcoming school year to the Lord.

Student Information Cards
Student Information Cards are available now. If you are a student (daycare thru college), and have not, please fill out a card and return it to the basket at the welcome center.
The completed cards are now available to be picked up so we can begin to pray for and encourage these students throughout the school year. The church family may pick a random card or if there is a certain child you would like to sponsor in this ministry. You may pick more than one child (card) if you would like.

On Sunday, August 30 at 4:00 PM, Beverly Weeks from Cry Freedom Missions will be a guest speaker at First Methodist Church, 208 Sampson Street, Clinton. Everyone is welcome. Come hear powerful testimonies and discover how God is changing lives around the world. FMI, please see the flyer posted on the bulletin
